Antique Locket Question: I have a beautiful vintage locket that I want to find out more about.

The front of the locket has a lovely floral design with rose and green colored silver ~ really pretty.

500 Pendants & Lockets: Contemporary Interpretations of Classic Adornments

Price: $16.47

It is about 2″ tall, and I believe it is silver.

On the back there is a line of three small hallmarks -

• a small “g”,
• a sideways anchor,
• and a lion.

Above those is another hallmark with WF in it.

The back does have some “dents” in it from something. I can send pics if you need them!

Mainly I’m trying to find out it’s age, and possible value. Thanks so much ~

The makers mark is either H.G&S / K.G&S then it say’s,

‘9ct’ then ’sil set’.

There is also a stone that could be a CZ or even a real diamond?

Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Question:

Modernist Jewelry 1930-1960: The Wearable Art Movement (Schiffer Book for Collectors)

Price: $45.79

I purchased a hand hammered sterling cuff bracelet with many natural pearls and sterling leaves attached on the top of the piece.

There is a TO Hallmark inside of a diamond shape on the inside of the bracelet.

Any clues as to who the maker might be.

I think it is an arts and crafts piece.

Any info would be great. Thank you.

In general terms we have discovered, through HUGE amounts of research, that your average Crim or Thug, doesn’t know the difference between Gold or Gold Plated items. Diamonds look like Shiny pebbles of Glass.

In the dimly lit beam of a torch, a handful of Jewelry, stuffed into a pocket, stops them searching any further, and they leave without any more damage.

So if it looks like gold, it must be gold… Right?
