Everything is discolored, dull silver while the only markings inside of the ring are the numbers 325 with a stamp of a crown?

What kind of metal is this…

Why I Really Like Opal Jewelry

June 05, 2007 By: admin Category: Diamonds & Gemstones No Comments →

A handsome and invaluable extra to any collection of stickpins is an opal gemstone.

Opals are superbly colorful, but if you do not know how to care for them you will not have a charming piece for long! There are many effects to recollect about opal stickpins.

Understanding Jewelry Appraisals.

Opal stickpins are made with some of those enchanting, iridescent kinds of opal which so rarely keep their prettiness unless knowledgeably well-looked-after. My Opal is teeming with a twirl of turquoise color and a rich blue with specks of marvelous vivid lime and gold in the interior.

Damaged Opal Ring

February 20, 2007 By: admin Category: Ring Appraisals 1 Comment →

Damaged Opal Ring Question: Hi, I went through the website and did not see anything that applied to this particular ring.

Opal Identification & Value (Rocks, Minerals and Gemstones)

Price: $49.95

I received it as a gift from an Antique Store. The ring looks to be rose gold and had a very large OVAL WHITE Opal in it.

I cracked it unfortunately.

The local jeweler said the opal was worth about $1800.00 BECAUSE OF SIZE and he did not know the markings and suggested I go on line.

Jewelry Security

Security Advice For Your Jewelry…

For you to enjoy your treasures, they need to be somewhere close and accessible, but NOT in the Bedside Jewelry Box.

Bead Jewelry for Family & Friends

Price: $8.00

if it looks like gold, it must be gold… Right?

This myth can work in OUR Favor, so we should think about the following advice and ACT on it…

As mentioned - your treasures need to be somewhere close and accessible, but NOT in the Bedside Jewelry Box.

Although we DO advise a Jewelry Box on the Dresser and easily seen, BUT CONTAINING SEVERAL PIECES OF JUNK JEWELRY.

It is a well documented fact that Burglars nearly ALWAYS check the Bedroom First knowing that people hide things there.

In general terms we have discovered, through HUGE amounts of research, that your average Crim or Thug, doesn’t know the difference between Gold or Gold Plated items. Diamonds look like Shiny pebbles of Glass.

In the dimly lit beam of a torch, a handful of Jewelry, stuffed into a pocket, stops them searching any further, and they leave without any more damage.

So if it looks like gold, it must be gold… Right?

See how this works in OUR Favor?
