Should We Really Care About The Wedding Ring Code?
Of all symbols on the planet the wedding ring has the most strength and power. Not only does it represent a commitment but dedication to another - and it's a'' wrapped up in a plain or diamond band ring.
If you are a Man - hey you know who you are
then wearing a diamond band does not mean you are more feminine if you are a male, as there are lots of men out there that just want a single diamond in their bands just like some woman do.
For lot of woman keeping it easy is still the best.
There is no need to display too many rings, particularly if your fingers already have other rings on them too, because a diamond band ring that symbolizing the wedding band could be the one which is different from the rest.
It may not be quite the traditional wedding set but if it makes the person happy to wear a diamond band ring then fine.
For the busy woman who is still in the workforce - especially if that involves a messy or dirty occupation - it would be simpler for her to wear just a plain flattish diamond band ring, nothing that will hook on or hurt everything else she touches, or feel like her finger is being ripped off while she works. At times like these it is better to be practical than simply 'looking good'.

Depending also on the shape and colour of you hand, there will come a time when you would have to decided what looks good on it.
Does the giant glamorous ring or the simple diamond band ring suite your hand better, or does both make your hand look odd and seem like it doesn't belong there?
This is where the choice should be yours, but sometimes it is not to your taste or wish. Be strong!
It wouldn't be fair if every diamond band ring looked the same for men and woman. At least the designers kept the female diamond band ring more feminine and the men's diamond band a lot more masculine.
Masculine Or Feminine?
The men's band would probably have a rectangular flat top to make it seem larger than the female's band, with maybe a small diamond set in a corner of it, similar to say a signet ring. The female's band would also have been fashioned with more soft curves in them to soften the impression.
There is nothing worse than looking at anyone's hands and seeing an array of glamorous rings that don't even suite the hand never mind make it look like an extravagant knuckle duster.
So if your choice is to dress every finger on your hand, try and stick with simple or plain rings. At least they won't make your hand look as if they are bulging or lost in the jewelry.

Jewelry hallmarks
Professional jewelry appraisals completed by gemologists and valuers often have to take into account the effect the jewelry hallmarks have on the value of each item being appraised. Do they alter the price, up or down, depending on the hallmark. The simple answer is yes – and no. It depends on the hallmarks themselves and where they come from.
I get similar questions on forums and ‘expert’ websites, together with my own members discussion group. They are usually in the following format, and in general the same questions get asked over and over again. They go… Continue reading Jewelry Hallmarks And What They Mean...

Listen, I wouldn’t have left a comment if you hadn’t been so cocky about how I should leave one because you’re almost “owed” one because you spent your time “(unpaid)” to make it. Well, if you really want a site that grabs people and stops them from doing what I did, whick is glance down and move on because your stuff is cluttered, ugly, and poorly displayed. No, I don’t get paid for my hobby either, but I don’t demand that people comment on it, either.
So, here’s the comment: your site is cluttered, ugly, and shows that you put precious little of the unpaid time you boast of into it. It’s awful.
G’day Spooky and many thanks for taking some of your precious time to comment.
I must say you were very vocal in your opinion, but I would certainly have appreciated a more ‘CONSTRUCTIVE’ criticism than the ‘DESTRUCTIVE’ one you wrote.
What about telling me (and anyone else who will read this) EXACTLY what you would do to change it into a better site?
I can’ wait for your expert eye being cast over my ‘UGLY’ site. And that goes for anyone else too, because I genuinely would like to know what you think and what you would like to see improved, altered, deleted or changed to make this a better site – even if it is already on page one of Google (and has been for several years) because I for one work very hard to make this a better site for everyone.
