Jewelry Appraisal CenterRing Question: I bought a ring at a reputable jewelry store in Georgetown Grand Cayman, I was told it was a 1.48k tanzanite stone it is dark purple with a little blue to it set in a 14k white gold ring.

Royal Caribbean says if it is not what I was told that they will reimburse me because it was recommended store.
My question is how much is this worth and it has a marking in it A/C and what does this mean?

You are going to have to take it to your local FRIENDLY jeweler/appraiser/gemologist and have them do a full written appraisal on it. This is the ONLY way you are going to know for sure, and stop guessing.
Most quality stores will give a guarantee, but I understand, as many do, you come back from overseas and wonder if you have been ripped off. Get it appraised, but you should be all right. You do have their receipt detailing all the information anyway.

The A/C could simply be a Makers Mark or Store design identification mark.
