The best option for matching eternity rings to the wedding rings is to select the same type of metal in the band. Since the anniversary or eternity ring is a band style, it will blend in with the wedding rings even if it isn't a perfect matchÂ
As with wedding rings, eternity and anniversary rings come in many different designs and styles. One of the most popular is called a half eternity ring, which uses the channel style setting around half of the ring. Diamonds can be intermixed with other precious or semi-precious stones in the ring or it can be all diamonds.
Half eternity rings match very well with wedding rings, plus because of the location of the gems across the front part of the ring they are practical to wear and very durable. Since the rings are designed to only have the diamonds or stones on the front half of the band, they can be relatively easily sized down or up as needed.
Wearing all three rings, the wedding rings and the eternity or anniversary ring, together is very popular and makes a striking presentation. For those that want a bit more dazzle to a plain wedding band, the eternity ring can be worn in the plain band's place some or all of the time.
