Legal and Ethical Issues
When 'Valuing' your own Jewelry it is easy to forget any problems which may occur, but you should be aware (especially if you are using our 'Online Self Assessment' Jewelry Valuation Appraisal Kit), that you still have some 'Moral' obligations, if only to yourself...
Your Obligations or 'Duty of Disclosure'....
If you 'Knowingly' fill in misleading or false information into the 'Kit' and then try to pass on that Valuation Certificate as a True Identification, then you are not only guilty of Fraud, but morally you are also guilty of misleading any other parties associated in the financial transactions arising from the sale of your item or a claim for insurance in the event of loss.
Proof of Authenticity....
If you use the Valuation Certificate as proof of authenticity of an item during resale to a Third party, and that certificate is later found to be 'Inaccurate' YOU will be held accountable...
Our Obligations....
We endeavor to provide you with the highest standards of honesty and integrity built into
all our up-to-date and accurate software systems.
