The reason jewelry can become so personal after seeing their name on it, is because a person has a special connection with their name. It is part of the impression one feels when seeing their name shiny and everlasting on something beautiful. A name is something that a person grows up with. Kids learn to spell it, and later learn why they were given that name, and even later see how it looks as a signature on important papers. A name grows up, survives nicknames and abbreviations, and becomes as old at the owner. That is why name jewelry can take a person’s breath away when given it as a gift. It shows that the giver thinks the receiver’s name is special and worth remembering for a lifetime. And a person will have a great pleasure in seeing and wearing their name in such a pretty way.
