Yes I know I have been a bit lazy - actually I have been very busy - but that's another story!
Perhaps GUILTY is more the word I should have used 
You see I wanted to make sure I could Post new information to you guys each and every day. Then that got sidetracked to 'each and every week'. Well it seems a month has gone by and I have failed you.
Bummer!
But apart from my Day Job (running this website) I also have over 40 other websites I administer and look after. Everything from uploading images to answering questions.

When you next receive a brochure or catalog from your local FRIENDLY JEWELER - start to scan their pages for offers. You will often see a diamond solitaire brooch valued at X dollars - and reduced to Y amount in their sale.
Simply divide the value by 100 points to arrive at a price per point and then multiply YOUR jewelry by the same amount.
It's NOT scientific or absolutely accurate - but it is a quick way that dealers and traders calculate the value of an item during an auction to get a 'Ball-Park' figure of what something is worth.
That is not to diminish the accuracy or convenience of our Jewelry Appraisals Online system, but more of a quick way to calculate a price 'On the Fly' as it were.
