it has no hallmark it just has the word platinum engraved inside it.

Old jewelry like you have described may not have a full UK Hallmark, but be simply marked with PLAT or PLATINUM.
As Platinum is now over $1300 dollars US per ounce, you can see it is a fairly valuable item - even more so if it is in good condition.
However it is illegal for me to quote you a value because I can’t see it, feel it, measure or test it.

Remember that there are 32 grams to one ounce and your item probably weighs about 3 grams, so you can do the math.
