- Payment and Registration:
I have registered for PayPal, and they have done the billing, but I cannot register for your site. The response keeps telling me that I have filled out the form wrong.
If you are having problems with registration - either because Paypal did NOT re-direct you to the login page, or because you Pressed the 'Return to Merchant' link in Paypal - Then you would NOT have received the correct page to start your Appraisals.
However; if you have the Paypal receipt, you will find a code there which will allow you to register yourself.
Please use this Registration Link to enter your details including your Paypal Transaction number which will step you through the process to retrieve your registration code again.
Alternatively you can contact Support where you will receive instructions through your email program to direct you to the correct login registration area.
- Jewelry Trade Questions:
I have looked around but can't see any discounts for the Trade. I am an eBay Powerseller.
You will find generous discounts available to all types of sellers - and buyers - and wholesalers, manufacturers or ANYBODY who buys and sells jewelry. Use the [Trade Appraisals] or the [Gemstone Appraisals] tabs available on the top menu and follow the prompts to get your discounts.
- General Appraisal Questions:
Can I select a date other than the current date on which the appraisal is made?
The simple answer is No. The system has been designed to avoid fraud as much as possible, so each individual Certificate is time stamped in the database with a unique code and Valuation number ID. The date comes from that code so it can't be backdated or altered.
I wanted to do an appraisal on a loose gemstone. Will this system let me do that?
No - and YES!
We have a sister website which just does loose gemstones. You can reach it from the top tabs [Gemstone Appraisals] available from the top menu bar on every page of the website.
I did a search but when I went to the page it says it is only available to Members. Why is that?
We have hundreds of pages available on our website - and in fact, we have five sites linked together to bring you one of the very best jewelry and gemstone resources on the web.

I just bought your "Jewelry Appraisal Kit" on 1 Oct 2007. Am I to understand that your "Jewelry Appraisal Kit" is for one (1) appraisal only?
The system has been designed to be exactly the same as you going to your local high street jeweler or gemologist/Valuer.
ie: One fee for one item for one appraisal for one certificate.
There never has been a jeweler in the world who would do ALL you jewelry for just one low flat fee, and this is standard throughout the world.
Sorry you were under that misapprehension? But at this low fee, together with a discount on any other items you wish to value, we are streets ahead of the competition and provide excellent service for the one time fee.
Why not take advantage of your discount Certificates for new items? The prices are listed in the Valuation Manager. You might be pleasantly surprised at just how inexpensive they really are...
