Earrings should be carefully matched to the colours of the dress.
Both the dress and the shape of your face need to be considered when choosing earrings. Dangle earrings will make a round face look thinner whilst round earrings draw attention to the roundness of your face.
The opposite of course is true if you have a thin or longer face. The wow factor can be achieved by using matching earrings and necklace to give that together look, especially if they are sparkly.

An ankle bracelet will show off your long legs, especially with a short skirt, but you should very carefully consider this. Understated high heels together with a small gold chain anklet can look really glamorous, however it can easily turn into looking tarty if teamed with the wrong clothes.

Decide if you like gold - or silver- or beads- or a particular colored gem and build around it.
A consistent theme will always look better, whatever the look, so enjoy choosing the jewelry for your special event, and enjoy looking your best. Don't stress over the decisions to be made along the way
