Identifying Jewelry Question: Do you know the value and any info on the maker / stone / age, please?
They have the following marks: PR.ST. CO 1-20 12K GF Demi
This is a necklace and bracelet set.
2 of the stones are turned so you can see the back.
Notice the scrolls, front and back.

Answer: G’day Linda and many thanks for your query.
My first reaction is that the item is NOT gold.
From the photo, it appears that some of the links are NOT soldered together - which is an indication they are not precious metal, but more of a imitation or Costume Jewelry. The backs of the settings look stamped.
The gemstones too, are not cut with the classic 57 facets of a Brilliant cut, but look more like a standard paste.
But please remember we can’t see it properly, or test it or measure it, so all of this is based on the limited resources you have supplied me.
Hallmark: A History of the London Assay Office
Price: $44.99
The Hallmark is also indicating a costume jewelry item with the PR.ST CO as a Company Maker’s Mark followed by 1-20 12K which would suggest it is one twentieth microns thick of a plated 12 Karat - again costume jewelry.
The GF also is a symbol for Gold Filled while the Demi part is just the design or model identification.
